In Spanish, I kept saying that my meal was very well when staying with a friend and her family who only spoke Spanish until I was told how to say it was very good.
In Italian, I said that my granda has cabbages (I meant to say horses) in the St.Patricks day parade and that my dog likes when I throw the shovel (I meant ball).
I still laugh about them to this day. I kind of like making mistakes because then you have these funny memories 😂 so long as your corrector is kind! And if they’re not, that’s not your problem 😊
I love those too! Especially the cabbages. 😂 The funny memories are usually worth the mistake. And in most cases, you’ll always remember the right word because the way you learned or relearned it was so memorable… Or there will be more cabbages in the parade this year.
