In my previous post, I made a tier list of some of the resources I’ve used to learn Irish. In this comprehensive masterlist, I've gathered every resource I can think of!
Experiment, see what works for you and what doesn’t. Don’t be worried if a resource that someone else loves doesn’t feel like a good fit for you. We’re all different, but with some trial and error, you’ll find the things you love to use! And remember, the most important resources are the ones you will actually use again and again!
Foclóirí / Dictionaries
Focloir.ie Béarla/English → Gaeilge/Irish
Teanglann.ie Gaeilge/Irish → Béarla/English
Tearma.ie Téarmaí ar leith - Specific terms (i.e. medical, business, technology, etc.)
Pota Focal Nathanna cainte - Figures of speech/Phrases
Gaois.ie This is a database that will pull up any examples of the phrase you enter. So you can see how words/phrases are used in context. Additionally, if you are between two options for how to say something, you can use Gaois to see which option has been used more often which can be a good indicator that it is the correct form to use.

Scéalta agus Béilte Suitable for all levels - People discussing food. A benefit to beginners is that the structure and questions are usually the same and food vocabulary tends to be beginner friendly.
Nuacht Mhall News read slowly with script and glossary available - Beginners would benefit from it, but a lot of the vocabulary is very specific to news and current events which can be challenging, so higher levels may also enjoy it.
